Winchester Basics Bank provides food and clothing to residents in emergency need. In 2018 we served more than 2000 people. Winchester Basics Bank is seeking an exceptional person for the position of Operations Manager to help the charity provide and develop the essential management and administrative support to ensure high quality delivery of our services in a safe, efficiently organised and welcoming environment. The successful applicant should be an effective administrator, have good people skills, be an excellent communicator, and be competent in using IT tools such as MS Office. He/she should also be comfortable working in a Christian environment.
Salary: £11.00 per hour (equivalent of £8580 pa) 15 hours per week.
The post is based in our Milland Road office in Winchester with occasional visits to our Stanmore and Weeke satellite sites. Normal workdays are Tuesdays and Fridays and normal hours are 9am to 5pm with a half hour break taken during the day though some flexibility will be expected.
