Donate
We accept donations of all standard dried or tinned food, cleaning products and toiletries; the items we are most in need of are detailed below, together with the items that we have excess, so don’t need donating. We also accept surplus fresh food e.g fruit and veg from allotments, but these must be delivered directly to our hubs; not left in the donation points in the stores.
Donations can either be placed in our collection points in stores – Sainsbury’s (Winchester and Badger Farm), Waitrose (Weeke), the Co-op in City Road, Winchester and in Alresford and West Lea Farm Shop, Alresford, or brought directly to us at our donation hub at Gabare House, Winnall Valley Road, SO23 0LD on a Tue or Fri 9-3pm. The collection bin in Tesco’s at Winnall is shared between a number of local charities via the Fareshare network.
If you wish to organise a large collection (school, church or work-place) please contact us and we can let you know which items are most needed.
If you are a business wishing to donate surplus items, please contact our Logistics Manager on 01962 864720.
Please do not donate items out of date (use by or best before) nor part used items, and we cannot accept homemade items, items with alcohol, nor items where the ingredients or allergens is not in English. Foods past their best before date, or homemade items can be donated via https://olioex.com/. Food past it’s use by date cannot be donated to any charity, so please dispose of it at home.
